Cooking is a way of life for me - a passion driven by my Gujarati origins and inspired by my mother.

For as long as I can remember, she has shared the secrets of her culinary expertise with me, setting them within the context of the traditional culture and heritage so important to Indian cuisine.

Together, we have swapped stories of spices with their rich complex flavours and sweet warm aromas. We have created the creamiest dhals and fruitiest chutneys. And we have explored the diverse regions of India - each with their own uniquely distinctive and delicious recipes.

Now, as a mother of three myself, nothing gives me more pleasure than to pass on my knowledge of Indian cookery and culture to my own children – and to you!
