Saturday Spice Kitchen

A refreshingly different way to spend three hours on a Saturday, this hands-on class offers you the chance to learn the basics and more of traditional Indian cuisine in Prett’s own home.

We have devised a range of sessions, from basic through to advanced levels, including several themed courses such as seafood, vegetarian Indian Cookery and Indian Preserves.

Prett will talk you through the day’s menu and give a general introduction to the spices being used. You will then start cooking under her expert tuition, learning everything you need to know to enable you to cook an authentic Indian meal. You'll also learn about accompaniments, pick up presentation ideas and discover options for serving, before finally sitting down to enjoy the fruits of your efforts along with the rest of the group.

The afternoon sessions you get to take some of the food home.

Lamb Chops, Chicken Masala, Okra and Potatoes, rice and Chapatties Paneer Tikka, Lamb Bhuna, Bombay Potatoes, Lemon rice and naan bread.

Dishes vary but if there is something specific you wish to learn please advise at the time of booking and we will try and accommodate.

Pricing and Booking Details

This course costs £85 per person.

To book a place on any of our courses, please contact Prett Tejura on 07903 960914, or get in touch via our form.

You will then receive a booking form, which needs to be returned along with your payment within 7 days to secure your place on the course. Alternatively, payment can be made by credit or debit card over the telephone.

When reserving your place, please notify us of any food intolerances or allergies we need to be aware of when preparing your lunch or supper.

Please note we have a minimum number for running each course, and if the minimum number is not reached the course may not go ahead, and you will be offered an alternative date.
